1、 How to classify
1. Appearance
Under natural scattered light, visually inspect at a distance of 0.5m with normal vision (without using a magnifying glass). The appearance of the insulation strip should be smooth, flat, with uniform color, and there should be no appearance defects on the surface that affect its use. Broken ends are not allowed on straight strips, and the number of broken ends on rolled strips should not exceed 2.
2. Breaking experiment
Randomly take samples for manual breaking experiments. When the nylon insulation strip is bent, it can feel good toughness and strength, and it will not break even when the two ends are folded together, even if the fracture shows a slow fracture phenomenon; Some nylon insulation strips either have obvious brittleness and produce multiple bursts when bent to a certain distance between the two ends, or have obvious toughness and are repeatedly bent multiple times; The PVC insulation strip is very soft, basically without strength, and will not break when repeatedly bent.
3. Overall dimensional accuracy.
By using a vernier caliper (micrometer is more accurate) to test the dimensional accuracy of the insulation strip, it can be found that the size deviation of nylon insulation strips in different batches or different parts of the same insulation strip is less than 0.1mm, and the parallelism is standard; The size deviation of different batches of certain nylon or PVC insulation strips or different parts of the same insulation strip should be at least 0.1mm.
